Position: Bilingual Social Worker

Job Duration: To begin as soon as possible. This position is intended to be permanent it is based on funding and performance. Opportunity for growth with our organization.

Position Description

Work under the supervision of the Housing Manager to provide case management to diverse immigrant clients with a focus on mental health and housing needs in compliance with federal, state, and agency programmatic guidelines.

Duties

● Client intake

● Screening for assistance eligibility for various programs offered by our organization

● Scheduling interpretation for client appointments

● Case management including regular communication with client, periodic evaluation of client needs, follow up

● Record keeping using spreadsheets and internet-based programs

● Attend training and meetings

Position Requirements

● Applicants must be able to communicate in Spanish and English. (We accept applicants with 'Intermediate-High' English proficiency and above)

●Passion to serve immigrant communities

● Computer skills. Organized and detail-oriented.
