The THRIVE lab conducts research aimed at meaningfully improving the lives of individuals who have experienced psychological trauma, including veterans/military, first responders, and college students. In addition to trauma, the lab also focuses on understanding co-occurring addictive behaviors, functional recovery, and suicide prevention. The post-doctoral fellowship is a full-time position for two years, with possible extension for an additional year. The fellow will receive mentorship in professional development, launching a programmatic line of research, grant and manuscript writing, and administrative leadership. The fellow will partner with Dr. Morissette to prepare grant applications for funding, collaboratively launch new studies, conduct analyses of existing databases, write manuscripts, manage the THRIVE laboratory, and help train and supervise graduate and undergraduate students. Preferred candidates include those with advanced data analytic skills (e.g., structural equation modeling, growth curve modeling, and longitudinal data analyses).

Required and Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in clinical psychology strongly preferred, although other related areas will be considered (e.g., experimental psychology, public health).
  • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills are required, as well as attention to detail.
