This role will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, including posting and tracking job applicants in an applicant tracking system, identifying candidates, coordinating, and scheduling candidate travel and interviews, and attending and coordinating hiring events.
Responsibilities (including but are not limited to)
- Work with department managers on hiring needs, understand job requirements, communicate updates on hiring, etc.
- Post open positions and source candidates utilizing applicant tracking system (Paycor Recruiting), social media, job sites, networking, and other methods.
- Conduct screening interviews (via phone, video and in-person).
- Assess applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
- Identify and present to Hiring Managers qualified applicants interested in the position.
- Conduct reference checks.
- Coordinate Hiring Manager follow-up sessions and the selection/offer process
- Utilize Applicant Tracking System (Paycor Recruiting) to manage searches and the recruiting process.
- Reconcile candidate status through the Applicant Tracking System.
- Interview scheduling for the hiring team utilizing Microsoft Outlook/Teams.
- Establish and maintain candidate database of pre-qualified candidates to meet current and anticipated business needs.
- Ensure compliance in the Recruiting/Hiring process with laws and regulations, including EEO and AAP compliance.
- Attend and coordinate university and other career fairs in support of recruiting goals.
- Coordinate and provide timely feedback to all candidates that supports a positive candidate experience.
- Create and provide weekly job progress/status reporting to HR utilizing Excel.
- Promote Thomas & Hutton’s reputation as an employer of choice.
- May also assist with supporting professional‐development initiatives and programs by gathering, organizing, presenting and disseminating information.
- Work with the HR team on projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications / skills
- BS/BA Degree required preferably in business/ HR or communications, equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in recruiting and/or human resources.
- Demonstrated prioritization and organization skills, with ability to deadlines.
- Relationship building skills with ability to partner with Business Leaders to successfully identify talent.
- Understanding of behavioral interviewing techniques.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to exercise tact, discretion, and the initiative to meet demands of multiple internal clients.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and function effectively under multiple deadlines.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical information.
- Ability to travel 10%-20%.
- Preferred experience in recruiting in the A/E/C industry or professional services.
- Advanced tech skills including strong proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook.
- The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, Friday 7:30AM-11:30AM .
