Corporate Paralegal
We currently have an exciting opening for an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our Toshiba America Group legal team. This position is located in our Houston campus and will report to the Senior Paralegal. A hybrid working arrangement is available for this position.

Responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to:
- Develop, maintain and administer the processes and systems that the legal team relies upon to support its business clients – this includes contract administration, state business registration, state licenses, document retention, litigation holds, immigration, policies & procedures, and corporate minutes.
- Assists in the planning, preparation, distribution and coordination of materials for Board of Directors and Committee meetings, including preparation and drafting of agendas, meeting minutes, routine resolutions, written consents, and related administration and record keeping.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and maintain business processes with legal, governance or compliance implications.
- Coordinate various audit responses and government reporting activities.
- Support corporate governance, policy management, compliance and risk matters.
- Provide general administrative support to the legal team.
- Assumes other duties and/or assists with special projects as requested.
Preferred Experience:
- A paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited school (or any equivalent combination of related experience, training, and/or education).
- 6 years of experience in a corporate legal department.
- High degree of organizational skills and professionalism.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail with the analytical ability to gather data and prepare reports.
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with SharePoint.
