Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regular, reliable, consistent and punctual attendance.
- Physical presence working on-site to effectively perform other day-to-day responsibilities.
- Support production quality with PCBA rework to troubleshoot and repair various production failure modes (solder bridges, loose electrical components, wire connections, etc).
- Work with production assembly supervisor to identify optimization opportunities that could be addressed with improved product fixturing and test equipment.
- Repair current production test equipment as required.
- Coordinate with design engineers to support prototype design work.
- Support warranty determinations with electrical analysis on returned materials from customers.
- Other mechanical / electrical support as needed.
- Maintain a safe workplace and adhere to all safety and environmental laws/policies/procedures, rules.
REQUIREMENT(S):
- Associate degree in electrical engineering, electrical & electronics technology, electro-mechanical technology or other related field is preferred but not required.
- 3 years’ experience with printed circuit board / electrical analysis and repairs.
- Experience using 3D design software (NX, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.)
- Experience programming and operating 3D printers is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- PCB X-ray experience is a plus.
- Excellent soldering skills are a must.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and provide quick-turn support for production tasks.
