Information Systems Technician

TS Tech is a global supplier of automobile seat & interior trim, with operations in 14 countries. Our production is expanding & requires team players to join our TS Tech family at our Canal Winchester location (TS Trim Industries). TS Trim manufactures the door liners & switch panels for the Honda Accord, Acura, Civic & CR-V.

There is an immediate opening on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 6pm-2:30am) for the position of Information Systems Technician starting pay $21-$24/hour depending on skill & experience in addition to a $.30 shift differential.

Position summary: Provides primary helpdesk support. Supports network maintenance and security as directed. Tracks and controls Information Systems resources including hardware, software and peripherals as directed

Qualifications:

· Knowledge of TCP/IP networks/protocol, Windows Client and Server, Windows Applications, and Citrix.

· Knowledge of contemporary computing technology, hardware, and peripherals (e.g., monitors, touchscreens, cameras, multimedia appliances).

Primary Position Responsibilities:

· Provide excellent and timely customer support to all internal and external customers of Information Systems.

· Document all support calls into the ticketing system.

· Utilize all available resources (previous documentation and software knowledge base) to resolve issues before escalation.

· Support and, as needed, troubleshoot existing EDI, production control, MES/SCADA, and warehouse management systems.

· Support Cisco IP Telephony as needed.

· Maintain records documenting owned hardware and software assets, processes, procedures and known fixes.

· Coordinate the deployment and/or relocation of workstations.

· Act as a liaison to both internal and external customers and suppliers.

· Escalate issues as required to the next support level locally or to corporate counterparts.

Secondary Position Responsibilities:

• Support wireless infrastructure and wireless devices.
• Support media/multimedia hardware infrastructure.

Essential Job Requirements:

· Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex items to non-technical recipients.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office365 local and cloud-based applications.

· Microsoft Windows 10 and up experience.

· Networking, computer, and security fundamental knowledge.

· Strong, logical, problem-solving skills.

Nonessential skills and experience:

· Degree in a computer related field preferred.

Physical demands and work environment:

· Ability to lift equipment or hardware weighing more than 40 lbs. (utilizing team lift when necessary).

· Work Environment: This job is performed in a mixed environment of secure office and open manufacturing floor.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
