Position Summary
The Pharmacy Tech will be responsible for ensuring availability and delivery of medications to authorized location/personnel.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and repackage medications accurately.
- Maintain in date inventory of medications.
- Fill medication cart for delivery to units after verification by Pharmacist in charge.

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Pharmacy Technician training required.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience preferred
Age-Specific Competencies: Child, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric.
Licensure/Certification: SC LLR Pharmacy Tech or Pharmacy Intern required. Current PTCB preferred.
Other:
Must be detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills. The ability to prioritize is a must.
HIPAA: Does not have access to Medical Records. Access to PHI is incidental and unintentional.
