United Way of Utah County is a critical nonprofit serving our local community. We provide afterschool programs to low-income children, connect families to housing or healthcare assistance, lead mental health training for teachers and parents, bring the community together through volunteerism, and much more.
We are looking for an outgoing and dedicated individual to support our work in the community by joining our Resource Development team in creating fundraising partnerships with local companies.
Your role in creating positive relationships with companies involves activities such as planning strategic fundraising partnerships, networking with new businesses, working with CEOs, presenting to employee groups, asking for donations, and helping donors see the critical work they fund in our community.
This is a job for you if you like to meet new people, have strong communication skills, are organized, and are willing to jump into new projects.
This is an in-office position starting May 1, 2024.

Preference will be given to candidates with previous broad knowledge of Utah County (nonprofits, volunteer activities, businesses, school districts, etc.)
Benefits and Compensation: United Way of Utah County is an Equal Opportunity Employer. This is a full-time exempt position–annual salary of $38,500 – $42,000, increasing dependent on experience and education. Benefits include medical and dental insurance; paid holidays, sick leave and vacation days; 401(k); life insurance, and disability insurance; flex spending account and health spending plans.
Work Schedule: Position is based in Provo, UT. Typically Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Some early mornings, evenings, and Saturdays required for community events and meetings.
Physical Activity: In the course of performing this job, the incumbent typically spends time sitting, walking, standing, listening, speaking, writing, and operating a personal computer. Frequently, he/she will be required to drive an automobile to attend meetings or events within the community. Occasionally, he/she is expected to lift and carry office records and supplies up to 15 lbs.
