Position Summary The IT Operations – Technical Associate will provide technical & project support for IT Operations supporting DSCC IT service environments. The position is responsible for managing the technical and day to day operational activities, providing support for team project activities, and creating and maintaining new technical solutions under the direction of the Information Technology leadership.
Duties & Responsibilities • The operational environment includes the following technologies: Microsoft Platforms (on-prem, hybrid, and cloud): Hyper-V, Windows Servers, SharePoint, SQL, Active Directory, Windows workstations. ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus for ticketing, assets management, and change management, LanSweeper for server/workstation asset scanning. Microsoft 365 (Azure) technology stack and Microsoft Power Platform Nintex forms and workflows for SharePoint eLearningForce LMS365 learning management system for SharePoint and M365 Performs system analysis, consults with users, determines hardware, software or system functional specifications as needed. The following list includes frequently used technologies and standards in the environment, but is not limited to: o SharePoint (2019 and 365 hybrid environment) o Nintex workflows o LMS365 Learning Management System o Microsoft Power Platform o WordPress o Python o PowerShell o HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related web technologies o ITIL framework for IT service lifecycle management o WCAG/ADA standards for digital accessibility Support project leadership and management for internally and organizationally focused efforts, including development of project documentation within established processes and procedures Collaborate with Management and Application Owners to facilitate project definitions, timelines, and deliverables Develop and provide metrics and analysis to show quantity and quality of work Participate in cross functional teams as assigned Research and recommend new methods and techniques to improve technical and service offerings for internal IT team Available to work outside of standard business hours and respond to outages when appropriate. SharePoint Management: Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, and workflows. Implement security protocols and manage user permissions. Provide training and support to SharePoint users. Manage systems updates during scheduled maintenance windows Design, maintain, and support eLearningForce LMS365 learning management system features and integrations. Workflows, Automation, and Process Improvement: Develop and implement systems automations and integrations using technologies such as APIs, Microsoft Power Platform, and scripting with languages such as Python and PowerShell. Analyze business processes, recommend automation strategies, and drive continuous process improvement initiatives. Systems Integration: Integrate various systems and applications to ensure seamless interoperability and data consistency. Collaborate with IT and business teams to define integration requirements and solutions. Design and build custom solutions using the Microsoft 365 technology stack, with a particular focus on Microsoft Power Platform, to meet organizational needs. Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing Microsoft Power Platform solutions. Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint, web design, and automation tools. • Web Design and Accessible Design: Create and maintain responsive and user-friendly web designs, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA, etc.) and university digital accessibility policy. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational branding and accessibility guidelines. Manage and implement new features to the existing WordPress website. • Develop presentations on current and future plans or services.
- Make product and vendor recommendations.
- Act as a software vendor liaison.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor Degree - Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, related information management field or a clinical area of study.
- Minimum of four (4) years professional level IT experience within Systems Administration & Operations which includes demonstrated experience in architecture, configuration, planning, development, installation, maintenance, of enterprise computer and software systems mission critical hardware and infrastructure
