Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Security Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and implementing low-level security measures to safeguard our facilities, personnel, and assets. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safety and security of client facilities, personnel, and assets.
• Manage physical security measures, including access control systems, perimeter security, and security patrols, to prevent unauthorized access and protect against security threats.
• Conduct security assessments and risk assessments to identify security vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies and action plans.
• Coordinate security activities with internal teams, external partners, and government agencies to ensure compliance with security requirements and regulations.
• Conduct security briefings and training sessions for employees to raise awareness of security risks and promote security awareness and best practices.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency response agencies as needed to mitigate threats and ensure the safety of personnel and assets.
• Monitor and analyze security incidents and trends, and recommend proactive measures to enhance security effectiveness and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of security activities, incidents, and compliance activities, and prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
• Stay informed about emerging security threats, trends, and best practices, and apply them to security operations and programs.
• Support other security-related activities and initiatives as needed to support the overall security program.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment.
• Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and regulations, including physical security, access control, and threat detection.
• Experience with security technologies and systems, such as access control systems and intrusion detection systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams, external partners, and government agencies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• SECRET or higher security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management or related field.
• Certification in security management or related field (e.g., Certified Protection Professional, Certified Security Management Professional).
• Previous experience in a military or law enforcement role, with a focus on security operations and management.
• Familiarity with government security regulations and standards, such as NISPOM and FISMA.
• Experience with security program management and compliance activities, such as security audits and inspections.
• Knowledge of security risk assessment methodologies and tools.
