POSITION OVERVIEW: Completion Documentation Engineer
Project purpose: Supplier shall provide Electrical Method/Documentation Support services at the Vineyard Wind-New Bedford Massachusetts USA Logistic Hub where are stored Offshore Wind Turbine Subassemblies. Essential responsibility is to write the work instructions to close the completion items / Escaping defect which can be present on subassemblies.
The Offshore Wind division of GE Renewable Energy has been selected to install 62 HALIADE 220 –13 MW wind turbines for the Vineyard Wind (VYW) the East coast of USA during the year 2023.
To ensure the good management of the procurement and the logistic related to parts for Escaping Defects, GE requires a Completion Documentation Engineer to support the onshore Team
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write clear method statement in English and applicable by any new technicians, considering the work environment and the risks associated.
- Define the list of material, consumables, tools and skills needed to realize the operation.
- Apply the golden rules of electricity (as per GE Spec)
- Estimate the necessary time to realize the operation.
- Participate to field operations to confirm the good application of the method statement. Maintain and approve the method statement already developed by considering the filed feedbacks.
