Consultant

Duties and responsibilities of the position include the following

• Knowing Resources on and off campus
• The GEAR UP Consultant mentors. tutors and instructs students in improving necessary skills for post-secondary education completion.
• Collaborate across campus on events and programs
• Announce / promote various events, activities and programs across campus
• Refer students to appropriate Weber State services or department when applicable
• Complete required trainings
• Attend staff meetings
• Collecting, entering, and analyzing data
• Complete tasks assigned by the GEAR UP Director
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

This is a grant-funded position with secured funding through September of 2025. GEARUP will be seeking ongoing funding during the next seven years.

Required Qualifications

Required

• Associate's degree or Higher
• Two years related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred

• Bachelors' Degree in related field
• Project Management skills
• Advanced experience in Microsoft suit & Canva
• Fluent in Spanish
