With today’s technically advanced society, it is hard to believe that millions of homes in the United States cannot access high-speed internet. This limits their ability to participate in everyday life, such as access to telemedicine, teleworking (working remotely), and online education. These unserved or underserved homes have slow and debilitating internet connections that prevent them from accessing modern entertainment options like streaming TV, gaming, and family video sessions. We aim to bridge this digital gap and provide high-speed fiber optics-based internet.

As a Wecom Contact Center Representative, you will work on inbound prospect inquiries, conduct follow-up calls and work within our existing customer base on selling product upgrades and/or additional products. You will also work with existing customers on billing inquiries, technical support and other tasks assigned by your manager.

What You’ll Do

  • Be able to work the “Money” hour of 9:00 AM – 6 PM.
  • Be able to field inbound sales and customer service calls and targeted outbound sales calls.
  • Focus on selling Wecom Fiber internet services to newly passed homes/residents and transitioning existing fixed wireless customers to fiber optic internet.
  • Build your local brand, generating relationships throughout the community.
  • We want you to be a solution-minded individual and apply our products in a consultative approach.
  • You must be an expert in the competitive environment and able to compare the competitive offerings while successfully positioning Wecom Fiber as the best Internet provider in the area. provide support to customers as needed.
  • Track and manage activity, next steps, and results via CRM/sales software and provide daily/weekly summaries to leadership.
  • Assist customers with making payments and provide basic explanations of customer bills.

What You’ll Have

  • Impeccable customer service approach.
  • Curiosity of technology and how the internet works.
  • Clear and effective communication, listening, and organizational skills.
  • High School Graduate or GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Evenings/weekends/holidays availability as they are your most significant opportunities to sell.
  • Understanding of computer systems, typing skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint…preferred.

Nice To Have But Not Required

  • Prior inside sales and/or customer care experience is beneficial.
  • Functioning knowledge of fiber optic broadband technology, sales processes, and CRM systems.
