About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant to support Personal Lending Marketing teams. In this role you will use a combination of strategic and technical analytic expertise to perform marketing campaign analysis and provide critical insights to various strategic questions including but not limited to customer profiling, customer segmentation, profitability, acquisition, retention, engagement, attrition, and customer lifetime value analytics. Insights provided will play a key role in driving business decisions.
In this role, you will:
- Formulate and answer strategic questions using rigorous analytics while developing a clear, simple, and compelling story to influence marketing managers/senior management and gain buy-in.
- Apply advanced analytical techniques to solve strategic business problems.
- Utilize knowledge of the business, customers, and products to synthesize results and 'form a story'.
- Prepare and deliver thoughtful and impactful presentations to business partners that will drive future strategies.
- Document the requirements and scope for analytics projects and build a project plan to deliver them independently.
- Work closely with the Personal Lending Marketing teams to support the various strategic initiatives.
- Identify and develop the right set of metrics, analytics methodology, and report/presentation to communicate actionable insights.
- Assist in the creation of scorecards and dashboards for supporting various business users within PL Marketing.
- Proactively manage issues and project risks.
- Bring a consulting, solution, and servicing mindset to our business partners.
Required Qualifications, US:
- 7 years of Analytics and Reporting, Financial Modeling, Statistics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience analyzing marketing campaigns, applying statistical significance testing, creating campaign forecasts, and making recommendations for future campaigns.
- Experience working with predictive models to size populations and measure performance outcomes.
- Knowledge of campaign experimental test design, champion/challenger strategies, and customer segmentation
- Advanced knowledge and understanding in working with SAS or SQL or other data management, reporting, and query tools.
- Consultative experience with the ability to identify and understand the problem, design a solution, gain buy-in and consensus on the approach, gather necessary resources to complete the assignment, and communicate results in a timely way to our partners and peer groups.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to pull and synthesize information and data, from multiple sources, to create a robust analysis including actionable recommendations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
- Ability to work effectively in structured but flexible, adaptable and changing environment.
- Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities.
- Experience in banking or finance
- Working knowledge of Wells Fargo databases including but not limited to BMG, CAP, EIW, FDR, SHAW, ACAPS, and Hemisphere

Locations: This role offers the flexibility to work from home two days a week and requires the ability to work from one of the posted locations three days a week. We are not considering locations outside of the posted markets at this time.
