Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Regional Group Manager!
About the role
The Regional Group Manager (RGM) is a member of the Benefits Distribution Sales Team. The primary responsibilities of this position include building, maintaining, and servicing a profitable block of Stop Loss Business by developing and executing a marketing strategy for targeting employee benefit brokers, consultants, wholesalers, and TPAs in the assigned territory.
What you will do
- Merchandise, distribute, and sell Symetra’s Stop Loss product/value proposition
- Meet and negotiate with Symetra Underwriters on new and renewal stop loss policies in order to produce business that meets or exceeds target profit levels
- Work with other Benefits Division distribution teams in Select Benefits and Group Life and Disability to develop cross-selling opportunities
- Develop strong relationships with key internal and external clients (to include TPAs, brokers, wholesalers, consultants and internal customers)
- Travel to assigned territory as required

Base Salary: $65,000 plus eligibility for Incentive Compensation
