What You’ll Do

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Carry out onboarding and offboarding duties (New Hire check-in, Exit Interviews, Termination Discussions, etc.)
• Document preparation: Employee Action Worksheets, Termination letters, Performance Improvement plans, Severance & General Release agreements, etc
• Assist with full cycle recruitment (sourcing, screening, reference checks, preparing offers, etc.)
• Support various HR initiatives such as Performance Reviews, Compensation, Harassment Training, Employee Relations, Performance Improvement Discussions with managers, Company Engagement Survey, New-hire Survey feedback, Employee and Manager training, etc.
• Ensure compliance regarding employment laws and regulations by continually evaluating and executing necessary policies and procedures
• Continue to improve company culture by listening to employees as well as understanding company short and long term goals
• Act as a primary point of contact and provide solutions for HR-related queries
• Work within a variety of HR applications including ADP Workforce, Reflektive, BucketList, Emtrain, LinkedIn, etc
• Provide administrative support, data analysis, and reports
• Perform other duties as assigned

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree or post graduate certificate in Human Resources or a related field
• SHRM Certification is an asset but not required
• Minimum 2-4 years of progressive HR experience
• In-depth knowledge of HR standards and best practices, employment law requirements, and legislation across the US.
• Experience with UK and Canadian HR law is a plus.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency using ADP and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PPT, and Outlook)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, handling multiple deliverables with tight timelines
• A high degree of self-motivation
• Eager to learn and grow as an HR professional
• Strategic problem solver
