What degree is required to become an architect?

To become an architect, you need a bachelor‘s degree and a professional license. This requires completing an internship and passing the Architect Registration Examination. Architect programs teach students how to draw and develop working drawings for buildings, with an emphasis on residential design and the use of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
