What does a groundskeeper do?

Groundskeepers are responsible for maintaining the grounds and landscaping of parks, golf courses, schools, or other outdoor facilities. They may perform tasks such as mowing lawns, planting and caring for trees and flowers, applying pesticides and fertilizers, and repairing and maintaining outdoor structures and equipment. Groundskeepers must have strong physical stamina, as well as knowledge of horticulture, landscaping, and grounds maintenance techniques.
