A broker associate is an individual with a real estate broker license who works under another broker or corporation, while a broker acts as an intermediary between an investor and a securities exchange. An associate broker shows properties to potential buyers and presents offers to sellers, but does not supervise other agents. On the other hand, brokers oversee transactions, hire and train agents, and manage administrative staff. The main difference is that a broker associate typically works under a broker, while a broker may be in charge of multiple agents, including broker associates.
