Job Summary Performs a variety of routine and specialized diagnostic laboratory tests on environmental, blood and body fluid specimens as prescribed by physicians or healthcare providers in the technical area of Hematology. Processes and analyzes all specimens submitted for clinical analysis by performing required tests, reporting results to appropriate personnel, and maintaining instrumentation utilized. Minimum Qualifications Education Bachelor degree in Hematology, Biology, Basic Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science and Graduate of an approved program in Medical Laboratory Science required; or previously qualified or could have qualified as a technologist under March 14, 1990 rules (Medicare/CLIA ’67) on or before February 28, 1992. Experience Minimum one year of experience in all areas of the Laboratory or Hematology Department.
