Develop your engineering career at JLL! The Operating Engineer supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes to mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems. You will work as part of an engineering team in Queenstown, MD. This position requires the Operating Engineer to be on-site. Local market requirements may vary slightly. WHAT YOU’LL DO Complete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to: painting, pressure washing, cleaning, maintaining lighting system bulbs/ballasts (as allowed by any licensing requirements), plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, hanging pictures, repair office furniture, locksmith work and general maintenance Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete any tenant service requests Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable) Troubleshoot all building system

What this job involves: The Operating Engineer is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and repair of building systems and equipment. This includes managing routine and emergency plant operations, such as main switchgears, emergency generator operations, complicated emergency switching procedures, high pressure boiler systems, and Reverse Osmosis and Deionizer water systems.
