**Job Title: Receiving Specialist** **Job Description** This person will be receiving incoming shipments of materials and products and need to process accurately those shipments. Main duties will include inspecting, receiving, and recording incoming shipments. Responsibilities: - Receives incoming shipments and completes shipping carrier paperwork upon receipt. - Unloads and unpacks materials and products. - Inspects contents for damage or contamination. - Verifies material quantity and quality against purchase orders and invoices. - Updates the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system with receipt information and status. - Correctly labels incoming materials and stores them in their designated place. - Ensures receipt of materials, and stocks the incoming items in an organized and timely manner. - Follows department SOPs and work instructions and adheres to receiving standards. - Maintains accurate records and assists in inventory control processes. - Maintains a safe and clean work
