Barnco was established in 1963 as a sole proprietorship and incorporated five years later. Our first two accounts were Ceilcote and Mission Manufacturing, and we quickly developed a reputation as a trusted resource for facility and pipeline projects. Today, we serve as a manufacturer's representative and distributor for the leading suppliers in the petrochemical and energy industry, including Pentair filtration systems, BASF and Master Builders, 3M, Devoe high-performance coatings, Sioux Steel containment systems, Erectastep stairs and platforms, ProtectoSeal vapor control and flame equipment, Denso sealing and coating products, and RENTECH boilers. We are also the nation's largest distributor for the liquid coating division of 3M. Our operating plant includes a 2000-square-foot office building and two 5000-square-foot warehouses, and is equipped with a five-ton crane. Our biggest asset, however, is our people. Most have worked in the energy and petrochemical industry for their entire career. Drawing on their experience and expertise, we designed and developed our support operations to better serve our customers, including engineering, computer network, shipping, receiving, accounting and bookkeeping. We also provide service after the sale, including training to ensure that the products we provide are used correctly and safely in the field.
