Our client in Mukwonago, WI is adding a Mechanical Designer to their team working under the direction of the Design Engineer to design and develop a broad spectrum of engineering devices to develop or improve the clients product lines. This will include working with metal fabrications, hydraulics, mechanical drive systems, pneumatics, pressurized water systems, and electrical systems. Essential Functions of the Job: • Create, develop, and maintain large assembly models, detailed component drawings, and complex assembly drawings in SolidWorks. • Create and maintain bills of materials in SolidWorks and ERP. • Create and maintain engineering documentation using standard engineering procedures. • Acquire component specification documents and create specification documentations. • Participate in the ECO process and perform any related changes and essential documentation. • Collaborate with material and production personnel and vendors to produce designs that minimize labor and overall cost.
