Big Creek Pet Hospital, formerly known as Berea Pet Hospital, opened our hospital in February 2002. Previously, from 1954 to 2001 we were located on the corner of Pearl and Bagley Roads. Dr. Hermann founded the practice in 1948. Dr. Cameron operated the practice from the early 1960's until 1992. Dr. Deborah Fegan purchased the practice in February 1992. Our 6,144 square foot, state of the art, facility includes four oversized Exam Rooms, including an attached kids room, plus a separate Consultation Room. There are separate dog & cat wards along with a kennel. We believe in Team-based Medicine, Just like human medicine, we practice team-based medicine. This begins with our staff, consisting of the doctors, registered veterinary technicians, patient advocates, animal care-givers, and client-relation specialists. They work closely together to gather information, examine, and treat your pet. Because we are multi-doctor practice, they are able to confer with each other on more difficult cases. When needed we will also consult (or refer to) specialists, in fact our x-rays are sent to a board-certified radiology practice. Our suppliers also help by providing expert information concerning medicines and food. Finally, you, our client, are part of the team as the home-based care-giver for your pet.
