About Blue Island Park District
The Blue Island Park District was established in 1909. There is great history all around our park. Some of our historic facilities include Hart Park and our Memorial Park Pool. Our Pool was built in the 1930's under President Roosevelt's New Deal. It is one of the oldest pools in the midwest that is still operational.
