David Shapiro and Martha Boersch, two highly experienced trial attorneys and former federal prosecutors in San Francisco, created Boersch Shapiro LLP to help clients in high stakes civil and criminal litigation and investigations with personal and efficient service. Boersch Shapiro LLP captures the best of federal prosecution and large firm experience and ability, while also offering an efficient approach to criminal and civil litigation, grand jury proceedings, and internal investigations. Because of their experience, Mr. Shapiro and Ms. Boersch are able to handle matters with fewer lawyers than larger firms, and regularly agree to alternative fee arrangements and competitive hourly rates. Until July 2002, David Shapiro was the United States Attorney in San Francisco, and, for the ten years after that, the Administrative Partner at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP in its San Francisco area office. Martha Boersch was the Chief of the Securities Fraud section and Chief of the Organized Crime Strike Force during her 12 years at the U.S. Attorney's Office. She was then a partner at a large international law firm for seven years from 2004 until 2011. Boersch Shapiro LLP specializes in civil and criminal securities, accounting, wire and mail fraud, antitrust, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the False Claims Act, computer and trade secret matters, and environmental and other government regulatory matters. With over 60 years of combined practice, and 28 years of combined federal prosecution experience, Mr. Shapiro and Ms. Boersch have handled virtually every kind of federal criminal case and investigation in the United States and internationally. We are adept at conducting thorough internal investigations that, at their conclusion, provide a careful analysis of the facts and law buttressed by our deep federal prosecution experience. We welcome the opportunity to meet and discuss how we can help you or your company.
