They will be doing more of the modeling and the 3-D work They will be creating models and drawings of ship structures They will also take on some of the responsibilities of a Tech 1 drafter (re above). They will be sitting on the detail design team that is responsible for updating models and issuing changes. They will be taking a 3D model and extracting it to 2D that is then sent to manufacturing.
