William C. Cobb is the Managing Partner of the Cobb Consulting WCCI Inc. based in Houston, Texas. Cobb Consulting has more than 500 continuing consulting relationships with clients in 90 metropolitan areas of the United States, Canada, and England. In the early 1990's, Mr. Cobb's client base was extended into Central Europe, South America and the Far East. Prior to starting his consulting practice in 1978, he was Executive Director of Bracewell and Patterson, a major regional law firm, and immediately prior to that, Management Consultant with the CPA firm Touche, Ross & Company (now Deloitte & Touche). Mr. Cobb is a frequent speaker and writer on the critical issues of law firm and corporate legal department leadership. Mr. Cobb has often spoken and written for such organizations as the American Bar Association, Law Practice Management Section of the ABA, International Bar Association, Union International des Avocats, Practising Law Institute, Canadian Bar Association, Law Society of London, Institute of Law Firm Management, Association of Legal Administrators, National Association of Law Firm Marketing, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and other international law firm organizations.
