Comco was established in 1986 to provide automation solutions for the grain handling industry in Western Canada. Over time Comco has diversified into other areas of material handling such as feed milling, mining, water treatment, fertilizer, seed cleaning, coffee and pet food automation systems. With experience and an increased product line, Comco has also broadened its geographical reach. The first overseas project was launched in Egypt in 1992. Since then many other international projects from the Middle East to South East Asia, Latin America, New Zealand and Australia have been completed. Today, the Comco team consists of electrical engineers, drafting, software developers (Human Machine Interface and PLC programming), systems technicians, electricians and a shop team skilled in manufacturing CSA/US approved motor control centers (MCC), PLC, and marshalling panels. To compliment this technical team is a group dedicated to ensure the daily operation of the company is smooth and efficient. This includes staff dedicated to inside sales domestic and international marketing, customer support, purchasing, and administration.
