The primary functions of this position involve design, execution and control of laboratory research studies under the direction of the principal investigator. Candidates for this position should have a strong background in cell biology and biochemical techniques including, but not limited to, immune cell isolation, immunoblotting, microscopy, as well as be comfortable working with human samples. The main responsibilities of this position will be to develop, design and conduct experiments related to the mission of the lab, collect and analyze data, and assist in preparation of research manuscripts and presentations for publication and conferences. Further responsibilities will include training of laboratory professionals and students, development and revision of existing research methodologies, and critical analyses of relevant literature.
