Analyze the input received form the customer, request for the further input requirements, if any, develop the user guide, maintenance manual and training manual for the Rail CBTC system. Role : Under general supervision, responsible for writing various operation and maintenance manuals for the users and maintainers of the CBTC signaling system. Prepares written text and coordinates layout and organization of manuals and other documents according to prepared outlines and specifications. Research available technical data including drawings, design reports, equipment, and test specifications. The associates must be able to work with engineers and other technical personnel of the customer to clarify document contents. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and more than five years of experience in Technical Writing and Rail Signaling system. Responsibilities: Compile existing visual/interaction designs. Identify any content that should be updated to maintain consistency. Work 1:1 with visual and interaction designers as necessary to complete the visual guidelines document. Documentation is needed for all internal-only design content as well as the content that is for external consumption (and would include all the necessary visual/interaction guidelines that an external application developer might need.) Experience: Technical writing experience that includes producing task-oriented documentation, reference material, and online help systems.
