We are a family-owned regional chain of movie theaters. We currently have three theaters in Illinois-one in Robinson, Clinton, and Streator. Eagle Theaters has been adding the fun to movies since February 6, 2004, when the first Eagle Theater opened in Robinson. Eric and Susan Gubelman led 18 area investors to make that project a reality. The name was an homage to Eric's family, which had operated the Eagle Shoe Store in Robinson for nearly half a century. The Clintonia Eagle Theater was added five years later and the Streator Eagle 6 opened in the fall of 2016. We specialize in building modern theaters in small markets, and we have a track record of partnering with local investors and municipalities to make first run movies a reality.
