We assist with employment placement and offer 8 different trades for students to choose from. We are looking for an enthusiastic Counselor to join our team! This Counselor would be a temporary member of our team for 6-8 weeks while an employee is out on leave. This position works 8am-5pm Monday, 11am-8pm Tuesday-Thursday, and 8am-5pm Friday. This is a salaried position making the rate of 48,000 annually. Position Summary: Responsible for providing personal/career counseling for students to enhance student employability and to ensure continued enrollment and quantifiable success in the Job Corps program. Develops all aspects of the child's program and sets short and long-term goals and objectives for the youth. + Consults and collaborates with referral source, Foster Parents, teachers, school counselors, and other professionals involved with the youth.
