Responsibilities: Ensure all electrical systems function efficiently and safely, as well all apprentices on the job have oversight, with a focus on training. Interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams, install and maintain wiring and lighting systems, inspect electrical components like transformers and circuit breakers, and identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices. Comply with state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code. Repair and maintain older electrical systems, ensuring compliance with new safety standards and efficiency in performance.
