FEN-TECH was founded in 1992 as the US window market was moving more and more towards vinyl. The trend to vinyl was a strong sign that consumers were looking for a less costly alternative to wood or aluminium. A group of guys working in the vinyl extrusion industry decided to step out and create a company to serve this growing industry. They specifically wanted to look for niche internal markets and chose the strategic location of the upper Midwest. This location allowed them to reach out in all directions to service all of North America. The core products were geometric shapes, a small specialized segment of any given window manufacturer's overall business. A line of swing patio doors and garden windows were added within a few years. As the vinyl window industry grew and our abilities were challenged we developed a vast array of tools to bend even the toughest of profiles to the smallest of radii. It was a natural extension to apply these talents to other industries. Over the years we have become experts at bending, processing and welding PVC based profiles. During the last 20 plus years we have worked with a wide range of companies in a wider range of industries.
