Our client is looking to hire a Design Engineer in the Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland area to assist with System Design, Request for Proposal Response, High Level System Experience and Programming of Access Control, Video Management, Intrusion Detection, and Intercom Systems. We are seeking a self-starting, technical and creative individual with experience in complex security systems. Positions Qualifications: · Minimum of 7 years of experience within the Security industry. · 2 years of experience in estimation and design. · Experience with interpreting Request for Proposals, Statements of Works and blueprint drawing packages to develop Integrated Security System design, Bill of Materials (BOM) and Technical Proposals. · Experience developing PACS, VMS and IDS solutions for customers that have unique policies or procedures requirements is strongly desired. · Experience with security systems such as Lenel, RS2, Hanwha Waves VMS, Milestone, Bosch, DMP and Aiphone is strongly desired.
