Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Payroll Office within Region 2 serves both the Broome and Central NY DDSOs consisting of approximately 4,500 employees. Payroll prepares the regular, lag, and special payrolls. They also make related payroll determinations concerning salaries, miscellaneous payments, deductions, taxes, and other similar matters. Under the supervision of a Payroll Examiner, position prepares and processes payroll transactions and review related documents, answer basic payroll questions, and provide payroll customer service. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Process payroll documents and payroll transactions. Check for completeness, and process in appropriate computer systems, payroll documents such as direct deposit forms, tax forms, and other forms related to payroll transactions. Job Description Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Maintain complete knowledge of hotel features, room types, rates, room availability, and expected arrivals/departures. Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction. Hire, train and develop hotel team members and ensure all required training is complete according to standards. Review the daily business levels, anticipate critical situations, and plan effective solutions to best expedite these situations.
