Overview: Join Virginia Housing and help make a difference as an Associate Tax Credit Allocation Officer. This position supports allocation activities related to the Federal Low Income Housing Tax Program (LIHTC) and the States Housing Opportunity Tax Credit (HOTC) for Virginia Housing. The role relies on highly interactive stakeholder collaboration surrounding changes to the Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP). The position reviews LIHTC applications using various financial and underwriting techniques, in order to determine the rankings for selection and feasibility. This role will also be responsible for conducting Subsidy Layering Reviews. This position is expected to be a visible reference in administering portions of the LIHTC program throughout the year. Overview: The Allocator reports to the Inventory Supervisor with a dotted line to the shift supervisor. The Allocator is responsible for allocating work to the crew, directing truck drivers to docks and various locations on the facility premises.
