Position Purpose: Under the general supervision of the school principal, to provide sign language interpreting services when one of the district's interpreters is away from his/her position. Substitute SLIs may be called upon to fill a variety of different interpreting assignments at the elementary, middle, or high school level on an "as needed" basis.
