Responsibilities: Schedule maintenance activities for the production facility designed to minimize impact on production, including back-up planning for work interruptions caused by equipment downtime, using a Computerized Maintenance Management System. Generating emergency, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance work orders. Conduct facility walk-throughs to determine the scope of components necessary for planning maintenance work. Estimate job cost including cost of labor, parts, materials, and equipment. Identify and implement improvements in the planning process that will reduce annual maintenance costs. In consultation with maintenance technicians, write maintenance and troubleshooting maintenance procedures to improve rapid and first-time fixes.
