On February 12, 2020 the Laketown Township Board approved the distribution of the draft township master plan. The draft mast plan is the culmination of nearly two years of work by the Laketown Township Planning Commission. By approving the distribution of the plan the board allows the plan to be sent to our neighboring units of government and utilities that serve Laketown Township. The recipients of the notice then have 63 days to offer comments to the Planning Commission. After the 63 day window close the Planning Commission will review and consider the suggestions offered and adjust the plan as they desire. Then the Planning Commission will schedule a public hearing on the master plan. The date of that public hearing has not yet been set.
