The girls basketball Tiebreaker game versus Era for 3rd place in district will be played Monday at 7:00 pm at Valley View High School. The ticket link is below. We were only allowed 100 tickets. Code is: lindsay The Junior High boys basketball games against Alvord have been changed to Tuesday, February 9. Here is the schedule for the evening: 7:00 Varsity boys vs. Alvord. Seniors will be recognized before this game. Tickets will be sold at the door. On Friday night, the boys and girls basketball teams played Chico. The Varsity girls won 53-34, and the Varsity boys won, 55-20. The boys played at home, and we have photos of them in action here: The Junior High basketball teams played Collinsville on Thursday evening. Congratulations to Rory Dulock on placing fifth at the State Voice of Democracy Contest. Rorys essay was sponsored by VFW Post 1922 in Gainesville, and she was awarded a scholarship for placing fifth in the contest. The Lindsay ISD Board of Trustees were honored at the recent meeting as a part of School Board Appreciation Month. Members watched a video that was prepared by Ms. Shues art and music students , and they viewed an interesting display that was created by these students.
