Mobile Merchandisers was founded in 1978 by Steve and Darcy Wells. In the beginning the company was a general trading company servicing a local drug wholesaler with a variety of consumer goods from the Orient. Over time, requests for merchandising racks became more frequent. The Wells quickly realized their focus needed to change solely to the racking industry. Their background in retailing, plus their imaginations, focus to detail, and knowledge of the Pacific Rim, greatly enhanced this new business. Steady growth followed and in 1996 their son Steven joined the business, bringing with him a background in architecture and construction management.
