He or she will transport birds from Rose Acre facilities, and thoroughly clean and disinfect all equipment as necessary. Although birds need to be moved quickly and efficiently, the bird mover must always keep the well-being of the birds in mind to reduce mortality. Finally, the bird mover will inform the supervisor of his or her crew of any problems with broken water lines, floor or feed troughs as soon as possible.
