ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs within the scope and training of the EMT, and consistent with State/ Federal regulations including HIPAA and other applicable regulations, including patient confidentiality and risk management. Provide medical care to guests and team members within scope of professional training as needed. Respond to First Aid calls and take appropriate control of the situation while considering the safety of those other associates and guests. Provision of competent patient care, for all ages, and conditions in the population the park serves, when responding to cultural needs of patients and families. Triaging, providing first aid, and/or referral to outside medical providers if necessary. Complete documentation for all patients and incidents and maintain records accordingly per company policy. Conduct daily facility audits, recognize safety concerns in accordance with Cal/OSHA, and communicate any discrepancies when found to the appropriate departments.
