In the late 1990s, NRG Controls opened an office in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton market under the direction of Brian Scandle to bring state-of-the-art controls solutions to organizations in both the public and private sectors in central and northeastern Pennsylvania. NRG Controls North, presently based out of a new corporate office in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, has grown to become the regions premier provider of automatic temperature controls (ATC) and building automation systems (BAS). In recent years, the company expanded its product and services portfolio to also become the preferred partner for state-of-the-art security and lighting controls systems as well as preventative/maintenance services.
