JOB PURPOSE: The Physical Therapist plans and administers Physical therapy treatment programs for medically referred patients to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body parts. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Completes assessments, progress, treatment or revisits, discharge summaries interdisciplinary notes according to departmental policy and procedure. Overview Provides physical therapy interventions to designated patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist ("PT"). Assists in monitoring patient progress through observations and follows up with supervising therapist. Works under PT supervision as required under NY State Education law.
