Qualified candidates will have expertise in advising investment companies and investment advisors on issues arising under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisors Act of 1940. This role requires at least 10 years of experience working on matters related to the investment management space involving securities, investment advisors, hedge funds, broker dealers, registered funds and ETFs, including regular attendance at board meetings and the ability to understand and advise board members on complex issues. Candidates with a government and/or in-house background are encouraged to apply, but candidates with at least 3 years of prior law firm experience are strongly preferred.
