Main Duties and Responsibilities Facilitate and promote the use of appropriate problem-solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action at Prestolite and our suppliers. Perform supplier audits to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards and to check corrective actions as required. Work with Supply Chain group to investigate new suppliers for their ability to meet requirements. Work with suppliers through APQP requirements and develop supplier skills where required. Review supplier PPAPs per AIAG and Prestolite requirements. Work in Supplier Component Qualification process team. Work with Prestolite internal team to collect data about internal supplier quality issues and communicate with the supplier, escalate as necessary, and ensure that the corrective actions are appropriate. Generate Supplier score cards and facilitate projects to improve any unfavorable trends. Recommend and implement enhancements to the Prestolite quality system
